World Vision

We know that Year 12 is a full-on year for everyone. Lots of exciting things are going on, and lots of hard work and stress! Overall most of us have it pretty good here in Australia but not everyone!

At Trinity Sports we think it’s important to share some of the good things we enjoy with others less fortunate than us. So we are donating $1 to World Vision from the sale of every Year 12 jersey.

At the present time we’re supporting World Vision’s Young Mob Leadership Program. This is a Sydney based programme that enables urban Indigenous youth to gain skills in public speaking and leadership to improve confidence and self-esteem. It also offers opportunities for them to learn more about their Indigenous culture, thus reinforcing their Aboriginal identity.

The programme helps Aboriginal young people to develop personal and professional skills such as confidence, conflict management, positive thinking, goal setting and supporting others. At the same time, participants learn about their own culture and have the chance to exchange knowledge with other Indigenous communities.
The Young Mob project’s focus on developing leadership qualities is a crucial element of World Vision’s efforts to reduce Indigenous disadvantage.
